If you are answering 'yes' to any of these questions, we have the answer. Currently we are seeking an experienced and quality trade qualified mechanical supervisor for our client's local workshop. This challenging and unique role will allow you to supervise a large team working with a variety of plant and equipment. Due to the nature of the work we are open to either Heavy Vehicle or Diesel Fitting trade qualifications or a proven depth of experience in areas of work such as mining or earth moving equipment, prime movers or other heavy equipment.

The role will allow you to step away from the tools however being a supervisor we are looking for someone to be actively involved with the team on the floor. This will allow you to work on supervising the quality of work performed, monitor the quantity of work produced and also build the trade and professional skills of the team over time. You will have the support and guidance of the workshop manager and administrative/scheduling support from the administrative team.

Being a supervisory role within a busy workshop you will be working average 45-50 hours per week however the role is a standard Monday-Friday position with minimal travel allowing you to be home nearly every night. They operate a modern and fully-equipped workshop and internally they promote high levels workplace health and safety practices. On offer will be a solid starting salary of $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation and a company vehicle (limited private usage).
