We are seeking a highly motivated individual to manage and support the Supervision of SVC Technicians including; Technical Supervision, Support, Training and appropriate handling of escalated issues with our global client.
As the Service Supervisor (Air Conditioning), you will be responsible for:
· Manage and support 400 Service Centres nationally
· Supervision of A/C service technicians and apprentices
· Organise service work schedules, daily, weekly and monthly
· Organise supply of materials, uniforms and tools to service technicians
· Maintain, organise and supervise OH&S requirements
· Ensure all Arctick and local government regulations are upheld
· Ensure that all service technicians have current Arctick, state contracting licenses and OH&S white/green cards
· Undertake scheduled and impromptu visits both interstate, regionally and within the metropolitan centres
· Supply feedback on product and field issues to QC department
To be successful in this position, you will have:
· Trade Qualifications (Tafe or Apprenticeship) in Refrigeration, electronics or mechanical disciplines
· Refrigeration or electrical trade license
· 5 years industry experience in air-conditioning and controls
· Recent management and supervision skills
· Troubleshooting and problem solving skills in commercial air-conditioner systems
· Ability to communicate on technical subjects to engineers and technicians
· Time management and the ability to prioritise
· Ability to escalate matters as necessary
