This is a great opportunity for you to join a recognised and highly respected manufacturer of industrial battery and stored energy solutions with a presence in Australia covering over 75 years. Due to staff promotion we are currently seeking a trade qualified A grade electrician with extensive Australian electrical maintenance or installation experience within P1 - P2 Telephone Exchanges.

Your primary responsibilities are the maintenance and instillation of backup power supply equipment. A technical background in electrical maintenance or installation of Substations with Power Authorities or industries such as UPS, electronics, batteries, telecommunications or power systems will be highly regarded.

The hours are mostly days Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend. Although the position is based in Western Sydney, the successful applicant will have travel opportunities working on short projects in country NSW as well as interstate.

This opportunity will suit a high calibre tradesman who possesses:

• P1 telephone Exchange Experience.
• First-class technical skills.
• Has an interest in working with evolving technology and equipment
• A passion for the power industry.

A 12 month contract will be offer to the successful candidate with the potential for a high performer to move to a permanent position in the future. In return the package on offer includes a fully maintained vehicle, phone, laptop, over time rates and travel allowances.
