QBE has been appointed to manage one of three Workers Compensation Portfolios for the NSW Governments Treasury Managed Fund and we are now looking for Service Managers to help us build, develop and manage a number of teams of diverse case managers, which will be aligned with one or more assigned Government agencies.
A key reason for our success is our proven ability to complement and underpin the expertise of our professionals with QBE Connect, a fully integrated client-centric service delivery model which consistently delivers claims outcomes in a personalised, collaborative and coordinated way. This QBE Connect Case Management model involves face to face contact with all stakeholders, with a key focus on managing employer relationships.
We are seeking experienced Service Managers, who are passionate about delivering co-ordinated high quality case management services to our stakeholders in order to achieve sustainable return to work objectives and responsible financial solutions. You will ensure that the teams portfolio of claims are managed in an efficient and purposeful manner through the application of appropriate strategies, interventions and resources, and co-ordination of activities amongst QBE internal stakeholders.

* Expertise in building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships to deliver quality and sustainable client relationships.
* Proven leadership and influencing skills, to ensure integrated and consistent service delivery
* Experience in effective people management and development
* Knowledge and understanding of workers compensation, case management and injury management, gained in an insurance, occupational rehabilitation, clinical or legal environment
* Experience in applying project management disciplines
The successful candidate will also have a tertiary qualification in Allied Health, Business, Law, Occupational Health & Safety, Marketing or industry equivalent; qualification as a Quality Assessor of Permanent Impairment is desirable.
